How did you get the belt to stop locking up after you took it off the car? I just grabbed one from the pick n pull and it worked in the car i took it from, but now that the slack is all gone its locked up after it pulled the seatbelt all the way in. Any ideas? Thanks man great video

Dahaaaaaaaam the whole thing on fiyer! Ive seen the impact blew up cause of the high heat transfer i would use a short extention for tool safegaurd and it will also reduce the bolt to be snap.

my problem is I got a plastic splash gard I gotta remove as I cant even see the latch ur showing me n the car is in a bad spot and the engine is dead I nreed to jump or charge the batter and its very cold like about 10 degrees farenheit but Im still working on it it spose to warm up a little tofday like maybe 32 degrees

Help hint you take a chisel and put in the crack/slot of the pinch knuckle to help open it up will slide out easily. Remember the bolt was pinching the knuckle on to bolt joint 😉👍

You can go to TRQ and get new, complete axles. I think spending the extra $200 per is worth it to swap the entire axle.

Had trouble getting the ball joints back into the knuckle so I flipped the nut upside down suck the threads through till I had enough then put the nut on properly and torque it down like worked like a dream

How about flushing the coolant system out. Then getting the air locks out. Totally the wrong way of doing the job. And you say your not a jag expert. You are right mate.

Does NOT work with factory length springs. Repeat. Does NOT work with factory length springs. Only thing i found for factory springs is a spring compressor OTC 7045B. Its hella expensive but it made this job hella easy

My 08 focus with 246k currently does this but may have been doing it since I bought it at 204k but I can’t remember when I first noticed. It does it once it’s warmed up and the sound goes away if I push the shifter lightly in any direction while parked (no clutch). Other than that it shifts and drives just fine.

Yo I'm tryna buy a 2010 Ford fusion se guy says needs rack and pion I haven't seen the car but I know junk yard got a fee of them can I just go match von and take the rack and pion. I had a fusion in past with this problem but it's been a few years refresh my memory good cars.

Ha mines bent outward

Mine made it to 215000 miles before the rack seized up. The rockers are all rotted out so the car is going to the junkyard. Can’t complain about the car at all, it was great for 12 years without major problems.
